Kirby & Josh: Wedding

Kirby and Josh were married last month on a perfectly beautiful Spring day! Not only did we have a fantastic couple to work with, but on top of that... they are Union University graduates (ahem... go Bulldogs!!!)

Their wedding was absolutely beautiful! You could definitely see all the time that Kirby had spent making certain that every detail was perfect. We were so honored to be a part of your special day and loved being able to tell your story! So without further adieu, here are some of the highlights of the day.

A close friend of Kirby's, and bridesmaid-from-afar, sent the beautiful scarves from India. She may not have been there in person... but I loved her colorful contribution!

Bethany: Bridal Portraits

Since Bethany and Rob's amazing wedding was yesterday, we are now more than pleased to show off the gorgeous bride in all of her splendor. A couple week ago, we were able to go along with Bethany and her family, to give her dress a practice run ... and what a dress it is! She is absolutely stunning and we were thrilled to be a part of her special day.

It was a little on the windy side at moments. But all is well for a girl from Texas ... they know how to use the real-deal hair spray. :)

Marie: Bridal

The problem with bridal portraits is that you shoot them, edit them, loooove them, but then have to wait to show them! Oh, the anticipation - what to do, what to do? Well ... Show another one! :)

Since I have been such a bad blogger these past few months, I now have a reservoir to pull from. (Note to self: Summer resolution... do better at blogging!) But for now, I decided to go back and post one of our favorites from the year.

This shoot was a special one for us since it was of a dear friend. Marie and Zach met at our own wedding while decorating/burying our car in balloons and streamers. What can we say... our wedding worked some magic. It was all over from there... and pretty soon, it was time for Justin and I to decorate their wedding getaway car! :)

We had so much fun taking Marie's bridal photos, and are just thrilled for the now happily, married couple!

Kirby & Josh: Preview

So it's true ... I can be the most negligent blogger during the graduate school year. But alas... have no fear... May is approaching! Time to say hello to three full months of no classes, no homework, and nothing but Javen Photography. What a beautiful thing!
